Green algae is good to deal with dengue hemorrhagic fever

These plants are able to accelerate healing and improve the patient's health condition.

This was revealed in a study with researchers from Hospital Bhakti Karya Bogor, Association of Medical Specialist Internist (PAPDI) Bogor branch, and the Faculty of Human Ecology, Bogor Agricultural University who disosialisasi in a press conference on Thursday (4/2/2010).

A total of 82 patients included severe hemorrhagic fever in the study and divided into two groups: treatment and control groups.

Principal investigator of the RS Teruna Adi Karya Bhakti said, both groups received standard therapy as directed by the World Health Organization (WHO), the provision of fluids, salt body, and balanced nutritional foods. So far, dengue haemorrhagic fever (DHF) there is no cure or vaccine. So far, patients need to be severe if the blood transfusion, albumin, or plasma. Sometimes given painkillers or oxygen.
